[Focus] Homosexuality still seen as a disease in parts of EU

Homosexuality is seen as a form of disease by many healthcare workers in central Europe whose job it is to help gay people, according to a new survey. The Fundamental Rights Agency , an EU office in Vienna, said in a report on Wednesday that the problem is at its worst in Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
