The Magyars

There are around 13.2-14.5 million Hungarians, of whom 9-9.5 million live in today's Hungary . At least 2.2 million Hungarians live in areas that were part of the Kingdom of Hungary before the 1918-1920 dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and the Treaty of Trianon , and are now parts of Hungary's seven neighbouring countries, especially Romania , Slovakia , Serbia and Ukraine .
