Report: Aston Villa, Newcastle target 20-year-old playmaker after ten-goal season

According to the Daily Mirror , Aston Villa and Newcastle United are among the clubs to be interested in signing Groningen attacking midfielder Albert Rusnak. Rusnak, 20, was born in the Czech Republic but started his career in Slovakia with Kosice, before making the move to Manchester City at the age of 14. Much like many young players at City though, Rusnak failed to even make an appearance for City, with his only impact in English football coming loan spells with Oldham Athletic and Birmingham City.
