Slovakia population expected to reach 5.43Mn by 2030

The population will age rapidly in 2012-2030 and by 2030 the 65+ age group will account for over one fifth of the total population and the median age of 45.6 years will be above the regional average. Bratislava will be the fastest growing city in 2012-2030 and will account for 14.5% of the urban population in 2030.
