The International Organ Festival of Ivan Sokol is the oldest festival of organ music held in Slovakia. Its founder Prof. Ivan Sokol (1937 - 2005) was a soloist of The Slovak State Philharmonic in Košice.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) declared in 1979 the 27th of September to become a World Tourism Day. The first such day was celebrated in 1980. This year, you can enjoy this event in Slovakia at the end of September and beginning of october.
